Naturally fermented foods have been included in traditional diets for millennia. They are an essential part of a healthy diet and much more satisfying than taking a probiotic pill! By simply including several tablespoons of naturally fermented food and/or a small glass of fermented beverage in our daily diet we can support the digestive system, boost the immune system, increase energy, and enhance nutrient absorption.
In this 2 hour demonstration-style workshop I show you how easy it is to include naturally-fermented foods in the diet that are tasty and simple to prepare. Learn how to make:
- Everyday Sauerkraut using seasonal ingredients + Kimchi variation
- Lacto-fermented Pickled Vegetables – no vinegar or sugar required
- Probiotic Kombucha + flavour variations
- + Samples of the recipes prepared & recipe folder to take home
+ bring a small jar to take home some milk kefir grains to get you started.
